WP3 - Environmental impacts of droughts and of research actions taken to mitigate and to adapt to the effects of drought
WP Leader: WMC
The objective of WP3 are:
• To revise state of art and knowledge gaps for securing water quality and for securing ecological conditions
• To provide guidance to stakeholders on environmental impacts
• To provide thematic links both for the review on potential measures (WP5) as well as to the field of drought policies (WP4)
• To contribute from this particular field to the development of an EU drought policy
• To further extend the network of drought experts with representatives from the environmental community
Expected results
• Background Document I to the environmental impacts of droughts - State of art review (DL3.1)
• Extension of Guidance Document by identified emerging issues from the round table discussion on environmental impacts of droughts (DL3.1)
