Role in Water2Adapt: FEEM coordinates the project adn lead the WP1 (project management and interconnectivity of task) and WP5 (synthesis and policy recommendation). FEEM is also the responsible partner for the Italian case study (Po river basin).

seeconsultSeeconsult (Society-Economy-Ecology-Consulting) GmbH is an internationally active SME with vast experience in research and project management related to projects concerning economic, political, social and environmental changes. Seeconsult provides authorities, universities and companies across Europe with methods, training/capacity building, and support in designing, implementing and evaluating participatory and integrated processes. The aim is to bring stakeholders across sectors and from different management levels together in dialogue, and to facilitate integrated planning of their environmental resources. Favoured methods for achieving this are based on experimental learning and participatory modelling.

Basque Centre For Climate Change BC3, Spain
BC3Basque Center for Climate Change (BC3) is a non-for-profit research association/center, established in 2008; the associate members are Ikerbasque (Basque Foundation for Science), Ihobe (Basque Agency of Environment) and University of the Basque Country. The BC3 contribute to long-term research on the causes and consequences of climate change, including the impacts on water systems, in order to foster the creation of knowledge in this multidisciplinary science. The BC3 promotes a highly-qualified team of researchers with the primary objective of achieving excellence in research, training and dissemination. The applied methods and analytical tools serve to widen the frontiers of human scientific knowledge to become a world-wide reference in climate change research.
Role in Water2Adapt: BC3 is the leader of the WP2 (Economic impacts and resilience) and responsible partner for the Spanish case study (Guadalquivir river basin).

Chamber of Agriculture Lower Saxony, Germany
The Chamber of Agriculture of Lower SaxonyThe Chamber of Agriculture of Lower Saxony (CALS) is an agricultural administration and advisory institution in the state of Lower Saxony. The CALS takes part in the rural development and sustainable agriculture and forestry. As an independent, self-governed legal entity of public law, CALS is taking care of about 57.500 agricultural enterprises with almost 2.7 million hectares of farmland including 930.000 ha of grassland. The CALS has its own independent research and analysis-centre.
Role in Water2Adapt: CALS will contribute to the tasks 2.1, 2.2, 3.2, 5.2 and 5.3, especially on issues related to agriculture and rural communities/development in the German case study area.

Universidade Nova de Lisboa (FFCT-CENSE), Portugal
cenceFFCT, Fundação da Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia da Universidade Nova de Lisboa, was created by Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia (FCT-UNL) to host scientific research activities, technological development, training, consultancy and dissemination. It is responsible for the finance management of projects from FCT/MCTES, two I&DT Research Centres and projects financed by the European Commission.
CENSE is a research centre devoted to the promotion of interdisciplinary research in environmental sciences that is hosted in FFCT. It is the research branch of a wider organization including researchers, students and staff from the Environmental Sciences and Engineering Department of FCT-UNL, plus a number of affiliated organizations (teaching and research, business and public organizations). It develops research projects, outreach initiatives, training programs, collaboration with private and public organizations, dissemination of results and sciencepolicy dialogues.
Role in Water2Adapt: FFCT-CENSE is the leader of the WP4 (WDM and policies to boost resilience) and responsible partner for the Portuguese case study (Guadiana river basin).
