The final event of the PLANETS project: “Energy and climate scenarios to 2050: Policy Insights from the E.C. sponsored project PLANETS” will be held at the Bruegel Institute in Brussels (Belgium) on June 8, 2010.
This event is meant to disseminate and discuss the main results of the PLANETS project. The implications of low carbon policies on economic competitiveness and technology development at the European and global level will be presented by the project leaders and will be discussed with a wide audience of experts.

21-23_June_2010: International Energy Workshop - PLANETS Special Sessions: Modelling uncertainty in climate change analysis (Sweden)

PLANETS will participate with four Special Sessions: "Modelling uncertainty in climate change analysis" in 2010 International Energy Workshop, which will take place from 21st to 23rd June 2010 in Stockolm (Sweden).

The International Energy Workshop (IEW), first held in 1981, is an informal network of analysts actively working on international energy issues. The IEW provides a venue for scholars and researchers to compare quantitative energy projections and to analyse the interrelationship between climate change and energy. This year meeting will include five plenary sessions and approximately 120 presentations covering a wide array of topics.

The 2010 International Energy Workshop is being organised in cooperation with the KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden, and will be held from June 21 to 23, 2010.
